Our son just started his very first daycare at My Mother’s Hug couple months back and he’s doing great! Monika does a great job handling kids and takes great care. We are very pleased with the quality of Monika’s service. The environment is really friendly and homely and they make fresh food for the kids which is amazing. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s starting their kids’ first day care.
My son started going to ‘My Mothers Hug’ daycare at around 18 months. We, being new parents were very worried in the beginning. Especially because of the uncertainties involved in first transition to daycare, food issues, daily schedule, new environment, possible allergies etc. But after talking to Monika personally and on phone, we both were at ease. She was very carefully listening to all the details and trying to understand his needs.

My daughter goes to “My Mother’s hug” daycare. Really loved this place from day 1. I was looking for a daycare that is well hygienic and where the food served is fresh and homemade.Plus the people who are taking care of my daughter to be as loving and caring as us.I found all this at one place that made it an obvious choice to go ahead and enroll her here.
Our daughter was 2.5 and when we decided to send her to daycare. we were quite anxious about it as she was only raised by ourselves till then. We met with Monika and were impressed by her transparency and experience.

Our daughter was bit shy but Monika took care of her until she was settled and comfortable there. She was aware of our concerns and was keeping us up to date through out the day by sending us texts and photos which gave us a lot of confidence.

My daughter has been going to My Mother’s Hug since she was 18 month. I still clearly remember that at the beginning, I was so worried and thinking it will take her a while to adjust and was mentally prepared for a big battle. Surprisingly, only after a few days (not even a week), she was already totally melted by Monika and other aunties’ love, literally. The easy transition part made our life much easier than I expected and that’s also a start of a wonderful journey for my little girl.
Mother’s hug totally justifies its name ‘Mother’s hug’ in all means. I had called so many day care for my 1.5 years old daughter in 2017 and got disappointed to know that none of day cares had any capacity near my locality. Mother’s Hug owner Monika is a very nice person with a great heart. She told me that she can accommodate our daughter temporarily for a month since one of her day care kids went to India for vacation. That’s how I got so lucky and relieved to find a day care which is so near to our house and on the way to my office. Our daughter is almost 3 years now and I can’t imagine she could have found any better place than Mother’s hug.

We are very delighted with our experience at the day care. Monica really manages it very well & makes sure all kids are comfortable.

All Kids are served freshly prepared home made food and wide variety of fruits. She along with her team plan fun filled kids events based on festival themes. Monica provides daily updates to all Parents. She is very friendly and never hesitates to accommodate any special need a kid needs. Overall I highly recommend this day care.
My boys have been going to My Mother’s Hug since Jan, 2017. So, this review is long due. Initially, I was anxious about their transition as it’s was the first time they were in a group setting and outside home. The owner, Monica and her team was really supportive though the transition process and gotten them used to their day care routine within weeks. During the initial months, Monica used send us snaps of my kiddos activities, which to us was a sweet gesture.

Best day care in fremont/Newark area.Monica being mom of 3 really understands my concern and anxiousness as a mom that I leave behind when I go to work.Motherly care with all warmthness that my son gets in day care translates to a very happy smile when I pick him in the evening.Happy smile satisfies all my concern and proves how happy he is in the day care.No words other than saying my son is in safer hands with Monica and team @Mothers hug day care.
When we visited this place for the first time, we knew that this is the place we want our son to go to. Monika is very experienced and friendly. She is very patient with the kids . She used to send us our son’s pics and videos frequently throughout the day until he got used to the place. This really helped us feel better and concentrate on our work.

My mother’s hug is a daycare that is true to its name for the fact that they give home like care and attention. They have a very clean and environment, with fresh home cooked food & fun activities for the kids. Their potty training program is something I really recommend. Monica is truly a attentive care giver and a good listener and time and again she has addressed all my concerns. The daycare is very consistent with their daily routine. She helped my daughter cultivate the habit of drinking lots of water.
If you are looking for the best family based daycare in bay area, this is the place ! We felt at ease with Monika from the moment we met her and literally chased her to get a spot here. At anytime of the day you enter the daycare, you find it very clean and tidy. Monika is very professional, well organized, attentive and caring towards kids and so all her helpers. I highly recommend My Mother’s Hug !

We give all the credit to Monika and to the teachers at ‘My Mothers Hug’ daycare. They sent us frequent updates about child’s development and also some daily videos so that we could see how he is doing there. I can say that I am always stress-free when he is there at her daycare. Because I am always assured that he is very well cared.
My personal interaction with Monika has always been very friendly. She has very hardworking, dedicated and loving personality with positive attitude towards life and more than that, she enjoys everything she does. The daycare environment is always sparkling clean, very hygienic, happy and cheerful. Just how its needed for little ones’ development. All teachers take care of children’s needs very well and shower them with lots of love as if they are their own. Food (which was my major concern before joining) is given special attention as per kid’s needs and they always serve healthy, hot and nutritious food.
They plan daily learning activities for kids which are also fun for them. Monika’s entire family and teachers gets actively involved into planning special activities and performances for kids and surprise parents during festive occasions. Her own lovely daughters and son play with children in their free time and plan cute performances for them. We have had an awesome experience with My Mothers Hug and we highly recommend it to all parents.

The teachers Miss Monika and Miss Asha are all great caretakers and my daughter love them so much that she keep talking about them after coming home. This itself shows that she is very happy at this place and I can sense their love for my daughter too.
They make sure that all children are eating well and drinking enough water throughout the day. If any child is not eating they put extra efforts to feed the child with their own hands. At other places, I have usually seen and heard that teachers do not bother to pay attention if the child is not eating. I love the fact that the food served to kids here every day is planned as per the required daily nutrition, balancing Carbs Proteins Veggies and fresh fruits.Very important for a growing child’s growth.
Kids do some or the other activities every day. I loved the “Little Red riding hood” play they composed involving all the kids. This gives the little toddlers an early exposure towards presenting themselves and showing interest in participating in various activities.I am sure all the kids thoroughly enjoyed doing the play. My daughter being the youngest is learning very well along with other children. She looks very happy when I go to pick her up and sometimes reluctant to leave from there :) I feel completely relaxed and carefree when she is in her daycare.
I must say, it was the best decision I made! :)

Our daughter is much more confident now and we’ve seen great improvement in many areas. This day care provides best of both worlds, though it is home based day care but the day is structured according to defined time table, which I think will help the kids when they transition to traditional school.
It’s been several months now and we would highly recommend My Mother’s hug for several reasons.
  1. Healthy and fresh home cooked vegetarian food.
  2. Cleanliness
  3. Personal care, she gives the kids ample time to settle down and be comfortable at their own pace.
  4. Fun activities, Kids are taught using fun activities like art & craft, painting, dance and music.
  5. Great team of care providers, Asha ji and Poonam ji take care of children with love and affection.
We’re so happy we chose My Mother’s Hug for our daughter’s care.

Surprisingly, only after a few days (not even a week), she was already totally melted by Monika and other aunties’ love, literally. The easy transition part made our life much easier than I expected and that’s also a start of a wonderful journey for my little girl.
Everyday, there is some sort of activities (learning a letter or doing a crafting) organized, as well as fun dancing, singing and playing. I can feel that my daughter really had fun time everyday when I pick her up, which is really all what I want for my little girl — enjoy every moment with or without me being next to her!
On top of that, I really appreciate Monika and other aunties there, they are not only providing a facility and some physical caring, but also giving their love to the kids, sharing and offering professional children care suggestions and experiences to new parents like me and my husband. For special occasions like potty train, I was literally knowing nothing when it came and heavily relied on Monika’s advices and reminders on what we should be doing at home step by step…
I would like to strongly recommend My Mother’s Hug to anyone, especially new parents. It made our life much easier and in a way, the whole family is happier! Thank you so much, Monika and My Mother’s Hug!

Do I have more than 5 STAR to rate Mother’s hug? Monika is too kind a person and she has a magic in her voice and the way she handles the kids. Our daughter doesn’t listen to us at home, but in Mother’s hug she is a very obedient kid. The best part is that our daughter is always ready to go to day care and never says NO to ‘Lets go to Monika aunty’. She loves to go to day care, she keeps saying ‘I love Monika aunty, Asha aunty, Poonam aunty’.. ”Thank” you is a very small word to thank Monika and all Mother’s hug stuff to teach our daughter discipline and most importantly make her potty trained in such a short period of time. There are lot of things which I like about Monika and can go on and on writing. Monika organizes all possible ‘kids parties’ whether it is ‘Mother’s day’, ‘Valentines Day’, ‘Christmas’ and all parents are invited to all of them. Kids love all the celebrations and they are taught songs, dances in all celebrations and all the kids perform in front of the invited guests (their parents). It is such a lovely environment to feel like a home with so much love and affection. Another great thing about Monika is she is very detail oriented and she gives individual attention to every kid. I am so surprised to know that Monika somehow figured out that our daughter loves the song ‘Dil dia gallan’. Monika gave us a pleasant surprise by recording a sweet video of my daughter singing the song and sending the video in whatsapp. She always encourages each kid with her magical words ‘good job’..
Thank you again from my bottom of my heart to Monika and all stuff of Mother’s Hug for taking such a good care of our daughter. I would recommend Mother’s hug to all my friends.

It’s a clean, homely, loving yet structured and disciplined environment where my boys have flourished. They serve fresh home cooked meals and the menu changes every week. My picky eaters have learned to enjoy different dishes and fresh fruits. They have a separate potty training program for the interested parents. This is a huge plus for any busy parent!
The daily activities are engaging, educational (i.e., learning shapes, colors, alphabets, numbers etc.) as well as creative (i.e., painting, dancing etc) activities. Monica host’s special holiday parties i.e, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Christmas parties where the children generally put up a show as a team. In the process, they learn about the holiday, team participation and presentation.
Monica is warm and generous. She has given me valuable parenting insight from time to time. My children consider Monica’s house as their second home, They are not only attached to Monica, Poonam ji and Asha Ji, but also to Monica’s family members who have cared and loved them. This is a great home-based day care to be in.

They provide healthy home made food and the place is always very clean.
We love this place and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a good home based daycare. As someone else has already pointed out…”What could be better than a Mother’s hug” :)

My 2 and half year old daughter looks forward to going to the daycare everyday, which in itself says a lot!!
